Welcome
Hello! My name is Leah Barton, welcome to my website! Through education and work experience at Western Michigan University, I was able to combine valuable knowledge in both business and 3D design. As a founding team member that helped launch the University's first VR Development Studio and VR Lab, I led augmented and virtual design and development, trained fellow members of my creative team, and supervised projects.

About Me
I graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a minor in Multimedia Arts Technology (Audio Engineering and Sound Design). As Western Michigan University does not have an academic program for 3D design, immersive and interactive technology, and game design, I instead was able to join a small team that gave me the opportunities to grow my skills and help establish the Virtual Reality Lab at the University. Through this experience, I have gained skills 3D modeling, animation, Unity 3D, and became the primary 3D artist on all VR/AR and 3D designs. In addition, I have also acquired skills in:
+ Project management from concept development to final product with a client.
+ Teaching workshops in Unity 3D, VR/AR software and hardware, and 3D modeling and animation.
+ Capturing and editing motion capture data with OptiTrack-Motive.
+ Additional skills in lighting, rendering, rigging, and skinning.
