3D Printed Tactile Maps for the Blind

This project was a collaboration between Western Michigan University's Department of Blindness and Low Vision Studies and the Virtual Reality Development Studio.

A smaller, stacked structure of the university's College of Health and Human Services was created to provide a sense of the building's layout.

A large-scale model was created of the fourth floor, as it is where the Blindness and Low Vision Studies Department resides. It includes a more detailed navigation of the student's common learning environment.
